About Us

NMR Work Location MapFounded in 1996 and currently headquartered in Chantilly, Va., the story of NMR Consulting is one of hard work and perseverance.  Originally named Network Management Resources, we quickly outgrew our first office space—the CEO’s basement—and today have work locations throughout the United States. By attracting and retaining exceptional people, we have won many contracts, both big and small, and received numerous prestigious awards for growth and innovation. Though Network Management Resources was primarily an IT company, our service offerings soon expanded to include program management, logistics, infrastructure services, and risk management. In 2005, the name was changed to NMR Consulting, a change that reflected the company’s expanded capabilities.

What sets NMR apart from others in this industry is that our executive staff are veterans—their experience defines our culture.  Our team thinks and acts like an agile, mission-oriented military unit. That vibe and team culture, combined with a broad range of services, has yielded a 95% customer retention rate as well as multiple industry awards. Clients with mission-critical or complex needs choose NMR Consulting when they want a reliable partner that will roll up its sleeves and get the job done well.

At NMR, the clients’ needs come first—and our mission to meet those needs has consistently produced remarkable results.

Two scholarships – $1,500 and $1,000 – are awarded based on the student’s academics, leadership abilities in school activities or through work experiences, evidence of STEM interest through academic courses taken or participation in programs or events indicating such interest, and the application and essay.

While these awards are open to the public, the name of an NMR employee must be provided on the application. If you know an NMR employee and are a STEM degree-seeking student, we welcome your application! All submissions are due by midnight on June 23, 2017.
